The fact is, there are many point Cs or “points to SEE” within a short drive of our homes.. Mostly we pass through, or go to shop. A little further along the road and there’s lovely beach access. Even on a very windy day, you can hear them barking.To leave Eureka or even Humboldt County, there are three main roads: Highway 101 South towards San Francisco, Highway 101 North to Highway 199 and Oregon, and Highway 299 towards Redding. If you take the West Washington Boulevard turnoff, bypass Walmart, eventually you can take the left turn onto Pebble Beach Road.Living in a beautiful coastal town such as Eureka, California can make daily life seem like a vacation in itself. Especially with the new highway cut-throughs, one doesn’t even need to take the scenic view to go to Crescent City or San Francisco; we get there fast .
