Question by David R: Lost my job and am considering MFA in Creative Writing?
I recently lost my job and am considering going back to school for my MFA in creative writing (currently have four year degree in business management). Writing has always been my passion and I would love to teach as well as improve my writing. Of course, being unemployed, I would need grants or scholarships. Where is the best place to look or these?

I would apply for Financial Aid (finaid.gov I think) and then look at Fastweb.com and sign up there. They have a lot of scholarship listings. Also try searching for grants and scholarships on Google and see what pops up. A lot of government grants are out there for people returning for school but no one knows to look for them, so the money never gets used.
